End of Summer Check-In

Finding Balance and Fresh Inspiration

It’s been a minute and I've missed this space. The start of the year was quite packed! We had two of our Rubisnacks athletes, Frankie Rizzo and Georgia Heaven, competing in their fields: CrossFit competitions and a Muy Thai fight, respectively. In between the hectic bits of business, I made time for my own barre and pilates classes, which kept me grounded.

March ended on a high note with two, back-to-back events with High Frequency A.M., a matcha-fueled morning rave event we hosted in Barcelona with a life Afro-beats DJ set, in collaboration with another yoga community, ZenTech Women and an entrepreneurial community with Rachelle Leering. Proof that not all parties need to start at midnight.

Our morning yoga/matcha rave. Our new Elektra top and Aglaia leggings worn by a yoga teacher at a women's retreat in Morocco. Morning coffee run. HIIT Yoga at Juno House. Frankie competing at a Crossfit event in Istanbul.

But from April onwards, my days became inundated with a mix of work, consulting, and travel. With a busy schedule and my time dwindling, I had to focus on finding balance amidst the chaos - it wasn’t so much slowing down as it was learning to set priorities and, sometimes, the harder part: saying no.

I’ve always been someone who hates missing an opportunity, which often means saying yes to more than I should. I know many of you can relate. What this season taught me is that stepping back isn’t a missed opportunity; it’s a way to recalibrate. When we allow ourselves that pause or to say no, we return with a fresh perspective, new ideas, and the energy to be fully present again.

Maddy is wearing our new sports bra, Iris in Barbie pink. Summer holidays in Menorca. A beautiful cafe in Dubai. "Stay Weird & Shine On" label from a friend's leopard print suit. Gym session at my parent's in the US. Evening run in Barceloneta. Pic from our High Frequency AM event.

These past months, I gave Rubisnacks the space to coast while I focused on other priorities, and in doing so, I found the breathing room I needed. Thank you for your patience while I took that time. It feels good to come back inspired, grounded, and I can’t wait to dive back in!

Introducing Rubisnacks Studio

The Studio collection is something I’ve dreamed about for months: thoughtful neutrals in refined, easy silhouettes made for real life. While I know many of you love Rubisnacks for our unique prints and bold patterns, I see many of your buying more of the neutral pieces that can fold easily into your wardrobe - Less statement piece,  more staple piece.

And we need a mix of this in our wardrobe, hence the creation of Rubisnacks Studio - styles you can wear on the mat, but also on a Saturday morning walk, through your daily rituals, or wherever your flow takes you.

This fall, the debut comes with two sets in the gorgeous neutrals: Matcha and Cappuccino. I designed them to feel calm and effortless, but with strength woven into every detail. Each includes new crop tops and leggings that are as flattering as they are functional.

Rooted in Real Life

The inspiration for the collection came full circle earlier this year at a women’s retreat in Morocco. Watching women move boldly, connect through movement, and embody strength in their Rubisnacks expresses what I want the brand to mean to you - More than activewear, but something that give you a feeling that brings you closer to your true self and the things you love to do.

What’s Next

I’ll be sharing more about each set soon, along with behind the scenes and styling tips. If you feel inspired to share your own story with me, please do! I always love seeing your journey in Rubisnacks.

Big love,
Kate
